Men’s Prayer Breakfast
On Saturday, September 6th, we will have a Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 8:00 AM in the church fellowship hall. We will enjoy good food, good fellowship, and spend some much-needed time in prayer.
Ladies Fellowship
On Tuesday, September 9th, our Ladies Ministry will have a Ladies Fellowship at 6:30 PM. Dinner will be provided. The project for this month is to bring kitchen supplies such as paper plates, paper cups, and plastic-ware.
Missions Month Session 1
Our first session of Missions Month is Wednesday, September 10th at 7:00 PM. We will hear from Jon Liles, a missionary to Italy. After the service, we will enjoy a lasagna dinner provided by the church.
Missions Month Session 2
Our second session of Missions Month is Wednesday, September 17th at 7:00 PM. We will hear from Dick & Barbie Bass, our missionaries to Guatemala. After the service, we will enjoy tacos, beans, and rice, provided by the church.
Youth Ministry - Texas Rangers Game
On Friday, September 19th, the Youth Ministry will go to a Texas Rangers game. This event is for 7th-12th grade. We will depart the church at 5:00 PM and return for parent pick-up after the game at approximately 10:30 PM. The cost is $15 per ticket. We have limited spots, and the tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis, so purchase your ticket soon to secure your spot. Also, please be sure to read the “Know Before You Go” form to learn about the Ballpark policies.
*Filling out the permission/release form does not secure your spot. The only way to secure your spot is to pay for your ticket.
Missions Month Session 3
Our third session of Missions Month is Wednesday, September 24th at 7:00 PM. We will hear from Terry Kizer, a former staff member of our church, and the current director of Apex Churches (the church planting initiative of the BBFI). Bro. Kizer will share with us about church planting efforts here in the United States. After the service, we will enjoy hamburgers and hot dogs, provided by the church.
Neighborhood Outreach
Our next Neighborhood Outreach is on Saturday, September 27th, at 8:00 AM. Join us at the church, and we will head out to canvas the surrounding neighborhoods with church invites and seek to have conversations with people about the Gospel.
Fellowship Sunday
On Sunday Morning, September 28th, we will be having our next Fellowship Sunday. We invite you to join us as we worship and study God’s word at 11:00 AM, and stick around afterward for a Fellowship Dinner. The meal will be catered by Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and we ask our members to bring their favorite desserts. We look forward to seeing you here!
